Our Mission...

Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where children and young people with special needs can meet and connect — regardless of their diagnosis. We combine fun and relaxation, placing great emphasis on natural learning through play as part of leisure activities that encourage social interaction and communication.

Our activities stimulate sensory perception and help break down barriers of social isolation — all while maintaining an individualized approach to each child.

In addition to leisure programs, we also focus on education and awareness. We organize workshops and training events for teachers, social workers, parents, legal guardians, and the general public. Through this, we contribute to raising awareness and promoting understanding around the support of children and youth with special needs.

The non-profit organization PROSPOJENÍ, z. s. was founded as a response of parents with children with special needs. These children often lack opportunities to spend their free time meaningfully and to relax in a supportive environment.

We Focus On...

  • Safety, Individual Approach, and Respect — We create an environment where children feel safe and their individual needs are understood and respected.
  • Supporting Social Interaction and Communication — We encourage the integration of children and youth with special needs into society and promote mutual communication.
  • Development of Sensory Perception — Our activities focus on sensory stimulation and relaxation. The goal is to reduce challenging behaviors that often arise from difficulties in expressing needs.
  • Expertise and Empathy — Our work is based on a professional approach combined with genuine empathy for each child and their family.
  • Raising Public Awareness — A key value for us is increasing knowledge and understanding of diversity and inclusion in society.

How It All Began

It all started in November 2023, during volunteer work with children with disabilities for Maltézská pomoc. That's when the idea was born — to create leisure activities specifically designed for children with special needs. Over time, this idea evolved into a project that we submitted to the Social Impact Award 2024 competition.

In spring 2024, two founding members — Jana Pospíšilová and Lenka Venterová, both social workers and special education professionals — were joined by Hana Pospíšilová, who took on responsibility for marketing and social media management.

Our project advanced to the finals of SIA 2024, which included a three-month summer incubation program. During this period, our team participated in a series of courses and lectures. In the summer of 2024, we launched all media communication, activated our social media presence, welcomed our first clients, and organized our first interactive workshop for the public.

A major milestone came in October 2024, when we officially registered as the non-profit organization PROSPOJENÍ, z. s. at the Regional Court in Brno.

Since then, our activities have grown. We have started offering courses for teachers, workshops for schools, and continued organizing interactive workshops for the general public.

THE PROSPOJENÍ TEAM

PhDr. Lenka Venterová, Ph.D.

founder, lecturer

I graduated in Social Pedagogy from the University of Tomáš Baťa in Zlín. I am grateful to have found my path in social-therapeutic work with children with multiple disabilities. Even before starting my university studies, I was involved in teaching foreign languages to children with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD).

Throughout my professional career, I have completed a comprehensive course in crisis intervention and several art therapy courses. Currently, I am attending a long-term training in Integrated Psychotherapy, focusing on working with emotions (Emotion-Focused Therapy).

I am also an active member of an international project by the Czech Association in Greece and the Association of Social Pedagogues.

Mgr. Jana Pospíšilova

founder, lecturer

I am a special education teacher specializing in special educational and social counseling and neurodevelopmental disorders.

As a certified Snoezelen therapist, I use this concept when working with children, not only in the school environment but also during leisure activities. I continuously expand my knowledge and skills through professional courses focused on supporting children and youth with special needs.

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Special Education at Palacký University in Olomouc.
At PROSPOJENÍ, my goal is to create an environment where children spend their time with joy and a smile on their face.

Hana Pospíšilova

marketing, graphic design, virtual assistant

Since childhood, I have been drawn to computers and modern technology. That's why I decided to study Reproductive Graphics for Media.

Over the past eight years, I have explored the business world, working daily with people and developing a sense of individual approach. This journey led me to what I do today — helping those around me bring their ideas to life and relieving them from administrative burdens.
I have completed several courses focused on customer communication, leadership, and brand promotion.

At PROSPOJENÍ, I aim to raise awareness about the issues faced by children and people with special needs among the general public.
